Gilda Frumkin’s pictorial works are the expressionist representation of an interior landscape that is composed, through successive brushstrokes, and becomes a symbolic place in which the passage of man leaves its mark.
“The human passage” is the cultural and tragic space of an escape movement that leads to a new world. Lines and colors transform and tighten into a series of strong, and at the same time fragile, knotted ropes that bind in succession the memories and stories of real life. A well-defined set of landscapes of the soul that are transfigured in the ripples of the moment.
